Welcome to the website of New London Singers, one of London’s premier vocal ensembles.

Comprising about 40 talented amateur singers, we are a young choir committed to performing a wide range of varied and challenging music: sacred and secular, renaissance to 21st century, popular chamber pieces and exciting new discoveries.

Under our conductor, Ivor Setterfield (featured in the Channel 5 series “The Singing Estate” in 2006 and 2007), New London Singers performs regularly at London’s leading venues, and we are particularly associated with St Martin-in-the-Fields, Trafalgar Square. Recent performances at St Martin’s have included a special programme for the 200th anniversary of Trafalgar Day, Remembrance Day, Christmas and Good Friday concerts, a Shrovetide concert of Bach and Scarlatti, as well as our a cappella programme Darkness and Light, performed in London and Edinburgh.

New London Singers is a multiple prize winner in national and international competitions, such as "Rencontres Internationales de Chant Chorale" in Tours, and "Let the Peoples Sing" in the UK. The choir is also a well-known recording choir, our most recent CD has just been released - Vivaldi Gloria, with the New London Soloists Orchestra, the outstanding sopranos Grace Davidson and Elizabeth Weisberg, and violinist Mia Cooper.
